Unfortunately no. I did not bring any equipment with me. There are plenty of pristine lakes on and adjacent to the peninsula plus Lake Michigan. There are areas south of Leelanau that are famous for excellent fishing including the Au Sable river. However, this was more of an escape from this kids trip than a fishing excursion.

Shenandoah River State Park
Bentonville, Virginia
This park is located in its namesake valley. It is a great springboard for visiting the Shenandoah Valley or Piedmont regions of Virginia as well as the National Park. I typically opt for Big Meadows Campground on Skyline Drive but for a late November visit, having electric is a big bonus. The sites are well spaced and tiered down a ridge so most have good views of the river valley.
