We were at site #22, no hookups, at 12 Mile Beach. There is a walkway down to the beach. 
Very peaceful

Carson National Forest, New Mexico Columbine Campground, Site #18. Great NFS campground. Nighttime moon was terrific and meteor showers were amazing.

Since this picture was taken the CG has been closed.
It was an old mobile home park made into a RV park. As an RV Park it was known as Pacetti's. It was right on a deep water creek leading to the St. Johns river.
I took this picture because of the sag the trailer was causing. I often thought it must have been very difficult to handle on interstates when big rigs were passing it.

I suggest taking a kayak cart and a lockable chain. The distance between the area you park at to the actual launch is far enough that the cart would have been helpful. The campground will let you tie off your kayaks to a tree or post by the launch while you are camping so you don’t have to carry them back and forth each time. We would have kayaked more, if we had been prepared. Also, launch from the campground and go up river, hanging to the right and you’ll see this really pretty spring run you can walk up![ATTACH]374778

Happy Meadows
Happy Meadows Campground (again!), Site 3. July 31 (our 44 anniversary!). No snow this time... 
I have always wanted to get this shot and I finally did it. This was taken from about two thirds of the way up the mountain across the road from the campgrounds. Willard looks all nestled in.

Not exactly a campsite as you can't stay overnight, but still a nice spot to spend the day. And a steady ocean breeze to display a flag. Pigeon Point OSP and Pigeon Point Lighthouse, California

We are always out on our anniversary, August 1st. This year was our 47th. Here is our 1965 Overlander at Trail River Campground on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.
