Any recommendations for a smaller riverside campground in San Marcos Texas?

I know there one done san Marcos by river right on 35 ...but haven't been there san marcos is awsome, were from San Antonio tx

Pecan Park or Pecan Grove is a nice park, we stayed there last summer

Happy to see you say you are from SA. My wife just moved to SA and I am full timing in out 27FB Serenity until late to mid Jul in Washington. When I move to SA I am going to have to start figuring out where to go. Any suggestions? Up here in the Great NW we have ample opportunity to find places to go within a days drive. Is there anything life that around SA?
