Campground Nashville I-65
Need some help - we are on our way to Nashville, TN to - uh - let's see - hummmm how to put this - PICK SOMETHING UP , and WE need help on a good campground south of Nashville on I-65 for FRIDAY NIGHT. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I can look on-line but your input is much appreciated. Any where within reason on the way south would be good.
Thanks, Mike

Texas T
I believe exit 27 south of Nashville, TN.
Texas T is the name about $23 pull throughs and full hook up.
Right on the expressway, east side.
Good luck

I imagine you're looking for convenience right off the highway, so if that's the case I can't help. Otherwise, I was going to suggest Tim's Ford State Park.

Stll looking - maybe your site Nilesrob is a good one - we have three days on the return and are looking for someplace nice to wake up late and stay until checkout then leave.
I'll keep looking.

Mike, if Tim's Ford is a little far off the interstate for you there is Henry Horton State Park. I've been there for a conference but haven't seen the RV sites. I think Tim's Ford is a prettier spot though with the water.
Two Rivers Campground is just north of Nashville, but I've heard it is a nice spot.

Tim's Ford is really nice, and is located close to Lynchburg. In Lunchburg they make some charcoal filtered adult beverage there - Jack somthing...

I'm looking at Tim Ford - Tina will check out the web site tonight. Looks good and we may make that Friday with no problem after we finish our "BUSINESS" Friday morning.
Can't say what our "BUSINESS" is as now I see SUGARFOOT is reading my posts. Thank's Bard for the input. I hope to be able to show you what this is all about someday soon.
HAVE TO KEEP IT A SECRET FROM SUGARFOOT.................. She is on "double secret probation".....

SUGARFOOT - We're wishing you will show for the Florida Rally. You can see our new surprise there. Hey, we are pumped - another silver ball of joy in our yard. Makes the neighbors real happy.
See you on the road.

Awesome!
I knew it, I knew it! You have a new silver baby. Congratulations. . . So what's the length and weight of this new family member? And is it a new baby or one of the vintage variety? Or would I have to try to make the Florida rally to find out?
How many questions am I allowed on "double secret probation"?

Mike,
Congrats on the new rig! Awesome!
Any other time we'd have you at the house here, but getting ready to head out west.
Safe travels!

If you are going as far east as Tims Ford, dont forget that lynchburg has overnight spots with electric (free I believe) there in town. You could visit Jack Daniels if you were so inclined.
