Campfire Lodgings, Asheville NC

I just made reservations for October for premium site #8 at Campfire Lodgings. The lady I talked to told me this is a new site and has a good view. I have seen from other posts and pictures that sites 1 thru 5 are great sites (these weren't available). Does anybody have any info about the new site???? Just wanting to hear from somebody that's been there. Thanks in advance.

We were there in March 09 and the views are awesome.....look at my avatar (pic) and that is where we were when that pic was taken. We are planning a trip to go back in a couple of weeks. Lady at the office was awesome and helpful....road up there is very high and gravel road not very wide but in the curve they have a mirror to see if any other rigs are coming down. Oh forgot to say, I don't know about #8 but # 5 is the one we stayed in and it was really wide and nice

I just watched their tour video. This is a nice place! The video shows a big MoHo in space #4 overlooking the whole earth! I would think that #8 would be similiar.
Enjoy your trip. Someday we might check it out.. Thanks for the post.
