Ca 1 Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz

We will be heading south on Ca 1 from Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz pulling our 22 ft Bambi. Any issues with the road? We are experienced but have heard this road is pretty narrow. Thanks!

Not particularly narrow or winding, you will have no problems at all. Highway 1 from Carmel south to San Simeon is a bit challenging, but no real problems for a smaller trailer like yours.

Getting to Half Moon Bay from the north or East is narrower than south on One, but you shouldn't have any issues from any direction.

Highway One south of Carmel is the more beautiful stretch, but campgrounds are pretty full this time of year. You can usually get into Plaskett Creek last minute, but we haven't tried during the high season.
