Really unique pictures. Those were the days of individualism and cars were offered with a huge choice of colors, not maybe five like today.

Life sure is always changing.
As I get older I am not always sure that it is for the better.
But sure give the folks that spent the $$$ to fixed up these nice cars and trailers credit for the good work of saving them from the scrap yard.
Hope you are still dry after all the rain and flooding you got yesterday in AJ

Some low area homes built upon concrete pads were flooded in AJ. A shame so much water comes and goes before it can soak into the ground and water table. But never worry, the over 200 golf courses in the Phoenix metro area are each still using about a million gallons a day.

My BIG $$$ Dometic still does not work right even after ALL circuit boards and thermocouple replaced. Support from dealer and Dometic is/was poor.

Our they made in China ?

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Just let you know I am still alive and boondocking under the Pepper tree. We are still working on the C-130s.
We just trimmed the pepper tree so the winter wind dose not blow it over on me and the trailer.
Looking forward to going home for 2 week to Mesa AZ for Christmas.

Life

Some times being an 85 year old man owning an old Airstream sitting under the pepper tree is trying and takes $$.
After a year of my new Dometic refrigerator shutting off and not staying running,Dometic has told the dealer that my old converter(1989) may not be putting out clean DC power to run a modern refrigerator with circuit boards.SO we have put in a IOTA power converter/smart battery charger.$$.We will see if that fixes the problem.
Then since my TV was small and old I moved it to the living room and bought a new 24 inch Axess RV TV $$. It has nice picture but poor sound so I tried head set and speakers and can not get them to work.Their phone number is not in instruction manual and hard to find put I did find a number BUT no one answered the tech support line then all call after that say call during business hours. we will see where this goes.
Life in Castle airport in Atwater Ca sure comes under boondocking,No cable TV, Poor over the air TV can not even get PBS on it.Poor or no internet connection,Verizon cell phone 4 G service some times down to 1X and slow to use as hot spot for internet.
MY job is only thing that that keeps me going.

Hi Jim, How long are you going to be there? Already looks like you've been there long enough to vote.

Howdy do Jimmini, Just wondering if you are still at Castle AFB? We are just down the road and were thinking about visiting the museum soon. If you are there we would love to say hello.

Well came back home to Mesa AZ a week ago because California wanted us to shelter in place. So to me that was in AZ.
All is well here and it is good to be home.
As you can see from photo first day was OK, then I got bored. Sure miss the work.
Remember wash your hand since no TP and be safe.

Been in this house now for 4 weeks, not fun anymore.
This 4 weeks sure shows why we should never let the Politicians vote to let the Government run our heath care.
China must be laughing at us now since they make every thing we need but Airstreams. BUY AMERICAN

On soap box about Dish TV

My Dish pay as you go TV has sure been a let down.I bought my Dish TV equipment from Dish Outdoors. Now when I have had service and equipment problems it is a real problem get any think fixed.Talk to Dish they say your have to talk Dish Outdoors.Dish Outdoors said no talk to Dish.Got Winegard to replace one antenna but had to buy new for other system.Got Dish to replace one Wally box. Now TV remote will not pair with new TV after hours on phone with Dish Tech and could not fix a supervisor said they would send new remote then said NO you bought you equipment.Dish warranty does not get you much.Bought new remote on Amazon.
Sure glad I did NOT put Dish TV in my house it still on cable.
Has anyone had problems with Dish/Dish Outdoors? Maybe I am old fashion expecting that companies will have good service and back their warranties.

Boondocking with jimmini

Used Dish network years ago. It was so screwed up on the customer service side I had to threaten lawyer involvement just to get it turned off when we moved.

Looks like they have not gotten any better.

They are in my permanent “I’ve got a little list, they’ll never be missed” file. I absolutely refuse to spend any of my money on Dish.
