Replacement for my pride and joy.
It is a 2006 Ford E 350 with gas V 8 engine.with 85,000 miles.
State Farm was a real let down on the $$ I got and I would tell anyone with Commonwealth Casualty Co to go find a real Insurance Co,They DID NOTHING for me and where the company that insured the people that caused all this DAMN mess for me.
I feel for the poor people that got burnt out in CA and lost every thing and now have to deal with the insurance companies.I wish them the best.

I am back

Well I am back under the Pepper tree.
Only lost two months of work over the damn wreck.
Only took 41 min to get on line to post this, welcome back to high tech California. One bar on my cell phone AND yes we still have no cable TV here.
Now some guy from San Francisco is going to be Governor. So not much to look forward too.Must be caused by global warming.

News ?

On The news today said California is one of the worst states to drive in because of traffic, poor roads and above average gas prices.
Any one who has ever been here would know that.
To much welfare and not enough road repair.
BUT I am sure there will pass a law or raise taxis to fix being one of the worst state for driving in.
Remember towing your Airstream over 55 MPH is unsafe here anyway because of the poor roads.

Jimmini; that is becoming the norm for this ("hole") whole country. More and more welfare and raise taxes to cover them. Just ask Nancy. OOPS I feel for all those people on the train, but we can't take care of our own let more on the system without raising taxes or robbing Social Security.

This thread is one more reminder to me why I invested in a dash cam for my TV. Sometimes I look at it and wonder what a waste of money it was and then I hear stories like yours. Actually used it once to give a PO evidence that his accident was caused by the other guy hitting the unmarked patrol car in a road rage incident.

As to the insurance man argument, it does matter as the larger agents have their own claims person(s) but the smaller independent agents are just trying to get by day to day. The more stuff you insure and the larger the potential claim, the more it matters who your agent is and who the insurance company is. While I’m not an expert, my professional experience with an insured truck fleet has been that damage to the front of your vehicle almost regardless of the situation, unless video documented or very obvious causes, put some if not most of the insurance fault on you. Good luck and glad you walked away.

In California, one can not tow anything over 55 mph per their speed limit signs. Applies to the interstates it seems as well. But when I go that speed towing our 23D with our Mercedes ML diesel, the big trucks blow by like I was stopped changing a tire.

YES A dash camera would have been a BIG help to me. The AZDPS officer would have seen what happened, and Commonwealth Casualty comp would not have been able to dodge their responsibility.
You can bet I am getting one.

You can always drive down during the day over the weekend to visit and hang out. If not have a good visit here and a safe trip back to the pepper tree.

Back at work

All the holidays are over with.
Got all my doctoring work done and all is well for another 3 months.
So all that was left to do was go park under the pepper tree and go back to work.
Got back and found that there had been a BIG wind storm,it took my old awning that was rolled up and pulled the material out and finished tearing it up and put it on the the roof while the awning frame stayed up and locked under the cover.
Now I will have to but the new one I got months ago on.Good to be back to work.
Photo of AZ cowboy wine.

Why you need good insurance

I just got a letter from my insurance comp about my 5 Oct 18 wreck that totaled my SUV.
Since they paid me (not as much as I would have liked) they tried to get their money back from Commonwealth insurance with no luck. So they have now turned the claim over to a outside law firm and are suing Commonwealth BUT ALSO "any party responsible for your loss" meaning the owner of the vehicle that caused the wreck.
So make sure you have a GOOD insurance comp that will protect you from being sued. That is why you pay big $$$ to be protected from being sued.
So life goes on in the Squarestream under the pepper tree with the rain, wind, cold California weather, poor inter net, no cable TV and poor over the air TV. Only in the Great State of California.
Why do I stay when I have a nice home in AZ? Guess it the challenge of the work.
