Glad to see there is still food on the table in Quartzsite. You guys "rock" as the kids say. How is Lucy doing? We'll see you in Cholla next week Mike & Sheri, if the good weather stays around. Until the next camp-fire, keep us in your thoughts.

How long are you going to be at Roosevelt Lake, Mike & Sheri? We need to get up that way this year if we can before it gets too hot...

And Art & Mary...how long will you be there? Would love to meet you! (Or if anybody is going to the "Spring Break at the Lake" Rally at Lake Pleasant, 7-10 April...we will see you there.)

Q today

Time to get out the sun glasses and sun screen.It is Sunny today with a high of about 82.Thru.it is going to be sunny and 88, by Fri.sunny and 90F.If it gets to that 90F that will send a few more folks here in Q running for home.BUT the longer days and all this sun sure makes the solar panel run good.
Sad to say not much going on in Q or around the trailer only 2 folks came by yesterday at happy hour.
Here are a few photo taken last year of what you get when you go up to the Mogollon Rim Country of AZ to soon,its a cool place,with killer views BUT this was mid April.So a stop at places like Roosevelt Lake or Paysons Houston Mesa Campground are a good place after you leave the big Q to head North.That's no Honky Tonk lie.
Don't let your yearnings get ahead of your earnings.NOW that's John Deer green, BUT I think some folks did not follow this and look at this mess it got us in.

Hi Jimmy;

Today is the last day of the Gypsy Rally here in Yuma. Friday we will pull the wagon north and probably stop by for the night. Any room in the barn-yard? We are looking forward to getting back on the road. See you late Friday.

Q today

The Canadiakids (sounds like some gunslinger out of a Louis L'amour western)Art and Mary stopped by yesterday for the night.
Today they are going from Quartzsite AZ on to Apache Jct.to stay at the Lost Dutchman State Park in the Superstition Mtns.Then Roosevelt Lake,then to Texas.
Hope they can find the Lost Dutchman gold mine.
Maybe they will cowboy up and drive on up the Apache trail to see Tortilla Flats AZ.
Now is this not doing the cowboy way in the West or what.
Mary sent over some real good pancakes for me this AM after she walked my dog lucy,now ain't that nice of her.Guess I should say ain't that the cowgirl way.
The weather in Q for the next 5 days is going to be SUNNY and in the mid to upper 80s.
Ride like you stole it.

Hi Jimmy;

Great to see everyone again, even though it was short. The Lost Dutchman Park was full so we rolled on over to Tortilla Flats for the night. Mary loved that drive. Had her on the edge of her seat most of the time. Free camping on FSL at mile post 219.

Tonight we are up here with Mike & Sheri. Just finished supper and the girls are out walking the dogs. Plan to take a tour of the "rim" tomorrow and see where everyone will hang their hats this summer. Sure is beautiful country out here.

Stay safe and don't wear your spurs to bed.

Have a good one.

Hi Jim & Min,

I always enjoy following you folks. It's gotten to be an almost daily habit checking out your thread.

Looking forward to the posts from the rim this summer. Be sure to have a little extra fun for those of us who still have to work.

Rim

We hope this year that by changing cell phone comp. we will be able to have cell phone and internet service.AZ has lot of area that does not have cell phone coverage still.I guess with so few folks in some areas that it does not pay.

Just remember when you're over the hill you pick up speed.To the grave?

Hi Jimmy;

We spent yesterday up on Mogollon rim with Mike & Sheri. Beautiful area and we drove the dirt road through Young, quite the ride. Enjoy your summer, we will be following your campfire chats here on the forms. We are riding east, following the rising sun.
Safe travels

Jim,

After all your previous posts, it looks so out of place sitting next to a curb.
