Busy day.

Hi, this morning I went back to the gas station where the manager refunded the over charge, with no questions asked. He made a lot of money off of that pump. This camp ground has a free dog wash so Boo-Boo got a bath today. Then it was laundry time. More shopping and a take out lunch was bought today. We met my Daughter's family at a restaurant, had a nice dinner, and later had a nice visit in our trailer. Her boys are fascinated with our trailer. I also bought a few parts and some temporary LED's for my most used dome light.

These are little bright white LED's and they are fine for now. I will order all new warm whites and use one of these in my steps light.

Hi, today we went to Payson to see my brother and his wife. It's about a two hour drive from Phoenix. Dusty was happy to see my brother and he was happy to see Dusty. We went to the local Casino where we had lunch. Lee and I ordered the 1/2 pound cheese burgers. Only size that they have. Dusty ended up with half of one of them, so he was happy. My Lincoln is tanked up and ready to go tomorrow morning, but we haven't decided where or which direction to go.

The answer is Grand Junction, the heart of Mesa County, Colorado.

Hi, Gene; We were thinking about heading that way, but Ken scared us off with all the snow and ice in Colorado.

Hi, We are going in circles and lost without WIFI. OK where was I? We left Payson and went back to Flagstaff, Arizona. We stayed at Black Barts. No WIFI there and you better have your 50 Amp dog bone with you. [or 15 Amp dog bone] We made a trip to the Grand Canyon South Rim; Dusty has never been there before. Watched the Sun set, and the temps drop, so we headed back to camp.

(1.) Black Bart's.

(2.) John Deer.

(3.) Farmall.

(4.) Sheet metal art.

(5.) Proof that Dusty was at the Grand Canyon.

(6.) Grand Canyon Tower.

(7.) One View.

(8.) Sign showing some of the places we went to. We did not go to Page or the North Rim on this trip.

Hi, we left Black Bart's and ended up at Dolan Springs. Right in the middle of Indian territory. The people at this campground were very friendly and helpful. Honest too; Told us the only two places that the WIFI would work. We chose not to use it.

(1.) This road was about 50 miles to our destination.

(2.) Raven waiting for lunch.

(3.) Group of English girls removing coats Etc. for sexy poses on edge of rock.

(4.) The famous glass Skywalk; Lee and I both walked it. Somewhat scary, but felt safe. And for that price, I'm going.

(5.) Bob and Lee posing at Eagle Point. The rock formation looks like an Eagle.

(6.) Eagle Point sign.

(7.) WATCH OUT! Read the signs.

(8.) Grand Canyon West. Now we have seen it all.

Hi, this morning we left Dolan Springs camp ground, but not before re-filling our propane tanks. We had 3 gallons left. A lot of this trip was cold at nights so we used our furnace a lot. If you are brave enough to do the Skywalk, Don't go in circles like we did. It's actually close to Las Vegas, not the North Rim or the South Rim. So, we went through Flagstaff and Las Vegas twice. We thought that we would stop in Barstow so we could visit with my Daughter who lives in Victorville; No decent camp grounds in Victorville. The high winds and dust storm, not to be confused with my dog Dusty, were too much for us to stay in Barstow, So we took a break in Victorville's Costco parking lot. There we met with my Daughter and three of her kids and had lunch together. We had a nice visit and hit the road again. We made it to Fairplex KOA In Pomona, California. We were glad to find anything and for the price, I'm glad that the WIFI works good. We decided to do laundry while here too.

Don't listen to Ken—the weather where he lives is completely different than here. Much less snow and warmer here. We've had 1 1/2 inches so far half a mile above GJ. Ken probably has had several feet. Since you were so good at parking between 2 houses at your old house, I'm sure you could easily maneuver our driveway.

Now we have to come to Salem.

Hi, Gene; We might be home in about a week or so. Lee Lee is already thinking about a bigger trip for next year. Then we will be able to report on our new F-150.

Hi, we are back at camp La Habra for now. Dusty needed a bath badly so this morning it got done. Now I'm at the Laundromat washing his stuff and mine. They also have good WIFI here. Brea Mall decorated my Christmas tree for me and we went to Kim' AKA Rainbow Store. We had lunch at Kabuki in Brea and Cerritos; Annie is our favorite Waiter Lady there. Why am I doing Laundry on Thanksgiving day? Well it needs to be done, this place has great WIFI, and tomorrow, on Black Friday, I turn 23. It might depend on the weather as to when we head up North.

Hi, due to the many days and miles of driving through high winds, My very thin and flimsy refrigerator access door flexed and cracked. I bought an aluminum strip that was 3' long, 1/2" wide and about 1/8" thick. I cut a piece 16"s long and used two sided 3M tape to install it.

(1.) Cracker refrigerator access door.

(2.) Door bowed at bottom.

(3.) Metal strip and roll of tape.

(4.) Metal strip tapped.

(5.) Metal strip installed to inside of door to reinforce it.

(6.) Door not bowed, or at least not as much.

(7.) Latch and retainer clip installed; Just barely fit.

Hi, hoping that the weather will allow us to get back home. I dropped Lee off at Cerritos Mall, Dusty at Hart's Grooming, and I'm at Cerritos Ford for WIFI.

Hi, we had a cozy four person Thanksgiving in our trailer and my Nephew took us to Black Angus for my Birthday dinner. Dusty, as usual, got his Turkey dinner too.

What brand/model are these lights and where did you get them? I actually like the cool look of them (reminds me of the LEDs in the newer Airstreams, like the Flying Clouds). Thanks!

Hi, the LED bulbs are from Wal-Mart. They are too blue, not bright enough, and one is already acting up. The good one is going to end up in my steps light. They were the cheapest that I could find in a hurry before we get home. Then I will order a full set. [or about 20]
