Hi, there is room on the Alaskan Ferry boats, at a premium price. Too much for us poor people, so I drove around.

Hi, at this time, it seems that the ship's WIFI is at dial up speed for around $0.75 per minute of use. Making it more than likely that this trip report will be about two weeks behind actual time.

Hi, well, we left home Friday morning at 4;00 AM and was taken by shuttle to LAX. Our Plane was a United Airlines and it took us to Washington DC. From there we took a plane to Copenhagen, Denmark. Scandinavian Airlines. We got here, in Copenhagen around 7:00 AM Saturday. So basically we lost a night.

(1.) Boo-Boo as last seen at 4:00 AM Friday May 31st.

(2.) United Airlines wing tip.

(3.) Where in the heck are we?

Hi, we checked into our hotel room at 10:00AM Saturday June 1st. We arrived at our hotel at about 8:00 AM but had to wait two hours to check in. Our room is OK, so far, but it's kind-of hot here and there is no air conditioning. We walked through town [about five miles] and took a canal boat tour. I have no idea about their money. I paid for our boat tour and later we found an ice cream shop. After that we shared some fish and chips. [yes, we had ice cream before our fish and chips] We are now in our room with the windows open hoping for a cool breeze.

(1.) This is what can happen if you ilegally park in front of this cafe.

(3.) Nice looking dome building.

(4.) Smallest/skinnyest house in Copenhagen.

(5.) This is our hotel "Kong Arthur".

(1.) A 1932 Ford hot rod.

(2.) I don't know what "Din Fart" means, but it looks like this sign tells how fast a bicycle is going.

(3.) Bikes everywhere, hundreds of bikes. There is a place for cars, there is a place for bikes, and there is a place for pedestrians, don't get confused or run over.

(4.) Palace Guards [trainees] practicing.

Hi, today we went to Tivoli Amusement Park in Copenhagen; It's said to be like a Garden, Disneyland, and Knott's Berry Farm all combined. It is diffeerent, and no we didn't go on any rides.

(1.) Entrance and exit to Tivoli Park.

(2.) A fountain, a roller coaster, and a Chnise building.

(3.) A brown duck.

(4.) Another fountain in front of what looks like a india type buiding.

Hi, Boo-Boo was totally a sleep. Some times he just goes straight into his bed [like in the picture] and sleeps like that, and most times he turns sideways and fits better. Tomorrow after noon, Denmark time, we will be on our ship. We plan to go out again later today and take more pictures. Today we are sleeping in to make up for lost time. We walked, almost to the point of dropping yesterday; Actually we made a wrong turn and went a few miles out of the way. [scenic route]

Hi, today we found the walking street; It's a shopping area where no cars or riding of bikes is allowed. On the way there we stopped at the market place and had a Danish breakfast.

(1.) Our breakfast this morning.

(2.) Pastry store where we bought our breakfast.

(3.) This is a public outdoor rest room. This one you have to pay to use. I don't know for sure about this one, but the ones like it in Holland were for men only.

(4.) This clock like thing stuck inside of the car's windshield is some sort of parking permit.

Hi, today we did a lot of walking again; Here are some of the things that we saw.

(1.) Famous "Little Mermaid" statue.

(2.) Little tiny truck; This one was a coffee store.

(3.) I call this the Rock Chapel.

(4.) This is a pile of melted copper from the roof of the burned building in the back round.

Hi, we hiked quite a bit before we met up with this wind mill.

You should be on the ship by now and cut off from the internet for 2 weeks, but I hope you've had a nice trip. Are you using a smart phone, tablet or laptop on your international travels? Do you have problems with compatibility outside N. America?
