If you are out and about roaming the country this week, and you need a place to camp... just hit any of the big box stores. i.e., Target, Best Buy, Sears, K-Mart, Walmart, etc.
From watching the news, people hare setting up tents days in advance outside the stores to get the great deals. If they can do that, why can't you pull up in your Airstream and camp? If questioned, just say you are rotating out with someone on the lines. It might be good for a free night somewhere with lots of security... and a great deal on that new flat screen TV you have been wanting.
