Most TVs above 27” will automatically be smart. A lot of it is personal preference. I like Samsung TVs and appliances myself but they can get more expensive than a vizio or some other Walmart brand. A lot of people also say that in the 4k range, the average person cannot tell the difference between TVs outside of brand design.

Be aware...

...of OLED screen burn in.
LG makes the OLED panels that most all the manufacturers use, including Sony & Samsung.
Our 2017 65" LG has it.
LG states that they have updated the software on the newer models that prevent it from happening...some new owners disagree.

The NBC News chryon permanently burnt into our LG OLED.👎

DSteed, check out this tread about swapping out TV’s / upsizing:

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f45...ng-174824.html

We picked up a Samsung 32” 1080p Smart TV for the lounge area on our 27’ GT. Will move the original 28” to the bedroom and take the bedroom’s 24” to the house for the kitchen. Everyone wins!

I have just ordered a Samsung 32" QLED Television. This is a new model as QLED's have not been available this small until now. We have had a 55" QLED for over a year now. The picture quality is excellent. It has spoiled us for other televisions. We have wanted one for Lucy (our 25FB) for some time, but up until now the smallest QLED was 48"

The actual television measurements are 28.5" wide by 18.8" tall. We will just be able to squeeze it in Lucy's TV mounting area. This television is currently on special for Black Friday for $397.99 at both Best Buy and on Amazon.

Moosetags, I just upgraded my TV to that one. Fits in the classic spot perfect but the rear mounting points changed on the TV from the 5000 series that came from the factory. Had to move the wall mount up about 2 inches to get the TV centered in the cut out again.

Had to uninstall the fridge to get wall anchors in etc. it was a larger project than I thought but not difficult as least. Good luck with install! The TV is great.

We went with a wall mount Lenovo thinkvision monitor X1. 27” 4k monitor. Plugged into Apple TV. Also can be removed from its wall mount and used on dinette as an actual monitor. Thunderbolt 3 plug in connection for Apple folks. Fits perfect in our AS23D Serenity. Huge weight savings with multi-tasking as a bonus.

32" Samsung Smart TV - really nice set and it was around $250 at Best Buy. Also fits directly on the bracket where our 28" LG came off on our 28 International.

How did your upgrade work out. Was the TV worth the $$$. I'm looking at the one you purchased and the Samsung - 32" N5300 Series LED Full HD Smart Tizen TV which is 1080P

There aren’t many options for the smaller trailers with smaller televisions. My 23FB came from the factory with a 22” LG dumb TV. I upgraded that to a 24” Vizio smart TV. Samsung and other most other major brands don’t offer a television in this size. The Vizio is nice enough for the way that we use it.

Start out with 1080p. 720s are throw aways at this point. If you stick w LG or Visio you can’t go wrong. Your other option that no one talks about is slinging a computer monitor up there. Voila: Multi-purpose. Apple TV as the brains pumping through the VESA cable. Tunes through the OEM radio. When you need to work, lift off mount plug the original base back on place on table…. Instant workstation.

I've been looking for a 27" or 28" TV for our trailer for a few weeks now - anyone know where they all went? Seems like all that's out there now is either 24" or 32".

What model number? Is it 720p or 1080p? Love my sammy's but I'd like to have a 1080p in their place.

Well… 1080p of course. Best Buy Special. Added bonus was the Samsung plug worked on the Vizio. Literally a 5 minute replacement. Intriguing product uncovered while researching: Samsung M5. A smart monitor. 27”!

That being said…. Without using my measuring tape, Vizio fit perfectly w less than 1” to spare on trailer side. Like you, I thought “hmm I’ll bet a 27 could fit there”. I like the 1080p Vizio plug n play upgrade. The others are 720p and the M5 doesn’t have a tv tuner. I still like my raise and point antenna so that ruled out M5.

We recently replaced our 24" Samsung (dumb) TV with a 24" LG (smart) TV. We are limited to 24" because of the location and the ability to swing it around from the dining area to the bed area.

Last week camping, we were off the grid and never turned it on...
