mefly2.... now I get it.

3rd WOC- 1969 Fort Walters, TX
medontfly2expensive

I loved my favorite Mamas and Papas CD, playing the entire time, while crossing through western Kansas. Over and over. Somehow it cracked. Hmmm... It makes me begin to think some woman was behind this one.

I hate to say it, but this fur is becoming a living thing and I might have to do something with it.

Does County 7 Montana fall into your neighborhood? I heard even the women have beards living with all them lumbering Swedes.

Vivian... admit it. Caliban the Wonder Dog may be gone, but the memory could just under your husband's nose. I see Blue Heeler in the mirror every morning. My wife sees a dead squirrel needing to be thrown outside, off the back deck.

(I did not realize there are actually Airstream owners with a sense of humor. I thought humor was lost after paying for the trailer, but maybe not.)

There is a lot of truth to that.

(TerryV does not remember everything about the Age of Aquarius)

I just have to say, guys.....Doug cleaned up, shaved, and smelled nice most days....not so much for himself, but more for his wifey.

Not because I told him to, but because he wanted to.

If ya wanna cuddle, and snuggle up.....

Just sayin'......

Ladies - offer to accompany the hairy beast - and adopt the tanktop minus shaved armpits look. Years ago there were some "art" shots of Madonna showing "au natural" pits and bikini area. Grossed out a large number of men.

The mere threat or reproducing that effect and just flaunting the pits will get a guy to do some serious man-scaping.

As a young impressionable male of 12 years old visiting France with father stationed in Germany in 1962... I had never seen women with hairy legs or armpits until then. Never had thought it possible. My impression of women changed forever.

"Maggie... this ya wanna cuddle and snuggle up" in my late 20's while camping became expensive. Had I known just to grow facial hair could have saved me... I would have started at a younger age.

It's way more effort than just going clean-shaven, and if you're not a pretty boy to start with, the permastubble look just makes you look slovenly instead.

Well said!

I've had a beard for 45 years. Freedom is no shaving. My wife (we've been together for 29) has never seen me without it. It is no obstacle to cuddling. I'd let my hair grow to my waist if it would, but it stops at my neck—too thin to grow longer. I used to have hair on my legs, but it is disappearing along with youth (well, that already disappeared long ago). My legs look like a girl's, a good reason to wear jeans. I notice other body hair is turning grey—that's a shock, even though I knew the day would come. Hairless legs seem to disqualify me from hairy beast status.

Ray, get a dog. They'll love you no matter what you look (or smell) like.

Beards are not an impediment to cuddling and snuggling.....grunge certainly would be.

No unwashed, ungroomed masses for me.

Gene... where have you been? We have two Australian Cattle Dogs / Blue Heelers and I bring them up fairly often on the Forum.

They shed more hair in a day than I could grow in a life time!

Do you watch the Vikings on television? Somehow I get the feeling that there were barbers in the area, as most look a bit too well groomed.

Men's facial hair, like women's nail-polish, is best either on or off. Seriously. Kissing a guy with a few day's stubble can scratch a girl's face off.

I've heard tell that there are some cultures where men appreciate a lady's downy body hair. But I wouldn't know.

Now I'm too old and too married to find out.

Shoot, I still iron on patches when holes start showing up on my jeans. I just wish I could sell them for big bucks to the people that think it's cool to walk around with holes in their jeans. My 70 year old brain thinks it's stupid.
Oh, and my wife has been cutting my hair for 50 years, after I came home with a bad hair cut. Plus I can play graba with my barber.

I didn't know you could still get iron on patches. I could use some for a couple of pairs of my favorite blue jeans, Where do you get them?

Anyplace that sells sewing items....WalMart, JoAnn Fabrics, etc.

They are great for patching, from the inside, small holes and tears.
