Avoiding I 20 through Shreveport

Traveling soon from North Texas to Florida. Do not want to go through Shreveport due to the very poor road conditions on I20 and do not want to go I 10 due to the long bridge out of Beaux Bridge, any suggestions on what other routes to take?

I-20 to loop 3132 around Shreveport to I-49 south to Lafayette and I-10 east, The stretch of long bridge isn't too bad , only about 45 miles, besides
you got to see the Atchafalaya Swamp.
Another route is ?

UPDATE:
I-20 through Bossier City and parts of Shreveport will be under construction for the next two years beginning later in Sept (2023) for repairs to East and West bound lanes. Here's a link to article if anyone is interested. This is much needed, but will be a major PIA.
