Are we there yet

A fun little tid bit we all have heard on a trip with the kids. How can we give a cogent answer with an educational system that leads to this....

Only if she understands what "viral" means. She'll probably think she needs to see a doctor.

He didn't marry her for her brains...

Oh, I don't think SHE is going to die

I have a strong suspicion that he may, though. Very suddenly, painfully, and with a post on the net as well............

That first video shows me that there is one dumb person driving that van.
Many times we are preoccupied with other issues, and have no time to truly think about a question asked.
If this happens to me or you, it is probably better to not answer.

That way we look like we are deep in intelligent thought.

Maybe she should counter with a question, "Why do Airstreams Leak?" and see if he can answer that any more intelligently.

We all can be made to look like a fool, if given enough opportunities.

80 mph, let's see, how many timezones did you drive through? Did you nod off during the drive? These are things to consider. It also takes less time to travel N to S because it is downhill. jim

Thumbs up Word of caution though.....

Do not argue with your partners logic....you won't win.

DW driving.

"Where do we turn?"

"turn left at the red light ahead."

"honey you missed the turn"

"the light was green"

Sorry, but no - it's not just making her looking foolish through clever editing or something like that. First he tries to lead her to the answer by emphasizing the "PER HOUR" part. She doesn't get to the correct conclusion. Then he GIVES her the correct answer and she denies it.

Sure, we all come up with wrong answers from time to time because we were thinking about something else or missed an important point in the question, but he tried to help her get to the right answer, and it's pretty clear the conversation had been going on prior to the video. It's pretty sad how someone can get through high school without understanding something so basic as what the term "miles per hour" means.

Of course, she's probably pretty angry at him right now since the video went viral.

I'm hoping the second video is a parody...

It's one thing to not have the tools of thinking, it's quite another to not be able to use them. America is now a place where 3/4's of recent college graduates cannot decipher a complex sentence . . in their own language.

I'd like to say I'm surprised that these two are married. But I'm not. "Intelligence" is not what is on display by either, but only as a lower level excuse, first as a "reason" for a video and second as the putative subject. And the ugly reasoning of the first wholly displaces the second for its lack of love.

Hope they never have children, but one can all too easily imagine their parents. Or paucity thereof in substantive meaning.

Adult cards revoked.

You need to explain that driving east to west will be faster miles/hour than driving west to east, real time.
And yes, going south is downhill, but you use more gasoline/energy because of the magnetic drag.

But the big question is "Why would you pi^&-off your BED PARTNER AND COOK"
That shows you who the real dumb one is here.

If there were only some way to figure out how many times a wheel turns in a mile.
