A couple of months back...end of May to be exact...I posted that we were no longer Airstreamless in Ohio. We were the proud owners of a 77 Safari twin. As with most used TT's ours did need some work...general cleaning and some TLC. We replaced the water heater, per PO's suggestion, repaired the Zip Dee awning, cleaned and familiarized ourselves with all the appliances, black, grey and freshwater systems, and electrical. The minor plumbing issue resulted in a complete re-plumb of the water system. All this plus one heart attack in under 2 months.....
I am glad to say that Al-13 (our chosen name for the Safari) and I are fit for our first Safari... first stop of course will be Jackson Center, Ohio.
