Airstream Rentals in NC?

Not sure if I'm putting this in the right forum, so moderators feel free to delete or move it if necessary. I've been researching the possibility of renting an Airstream before we get into serious search mode. Hoping that this would help us determine what size and/or model that would be suit our needs and towing capacity. I've seen rentals on the West coast, but none here on the East coast. Do you guys know of any place that does this, or is it just not something that's offered. Thanks in advance!!!

PS--We are in the VERY early stages of research, so forgive me if this is an asinine question.

Thanks for the link, Terry. I guess I'm thinking more along the lines of rentals where we actually can hitch the AS up and ride around. Although the idea of at least getting to stay in one is a good thing, too. (We just got back from Manteo...wish I had known about this 3 weeks ago!)

Hello from Statesville, NC.
There is a AS dealer in Greensboro on I40. I believe its called Outdoors Mart. They have some nice Airstream's. Maybe you could rent one. We looked at some there but purchased ours in Knoxville, TN at Chilhowee RV Center. We wanted a 34' and the price was right. Good Luck!

No rentals at ODM, sales and service only.
Dickie Riegel started a company that rents Airstreams, but I know nothing about it.

Okay...I've got an email into his new company...looks like things will get underway sometime this year, but who knows. BTW, it's called airstream2go.

You might find it useful to attend one of many Airstream rallies, one or two coming up in GA in April, and a rally near Charlotte coming up (forget the dates). Usually at these rallies owners are delighted to open up their trailers and discuss their merits and drawbacks - lots of sizes and configurations.

airstream rental

Hi there,

I have an airstream I am looking to rent to anyone who wants to use it--she's a 31 foot 67 international sovereign, super cute, ready to roll. She is staying at a farm in Tennessee for the time being, but I was planning on bringing her to the Asheville area soon to rent her out.

Thanks,
Meghan

renting....

Hi there,

It is at my family's place in Tennessee, about 5 hours away from Asheville. When would you want it for, and for how long? If you want to talk about all of this, call me at (954)789-1105.

Thanks,
Meghan
