Airstream Only RVPark in Floyd VA ?

A friend who is restoring a '60s AS and lives in southwest VA mentioned that there is an AS Only RV Park/Campground in or near Floyd VA. I've tried researching and come up with nada.
If anyone has information about this, we'd appreciate hearing from you.
TIA

Been there

Virginia Highland Haven is about 12 to 15 miles north of Floyd. It's website is www.virginiahighlandhaven.com

It's closed for the winter, but I think it reopens in May. I've had a preliminary talk about having a forum rally there in spring.

It's a beautiful place in the mountains. Cool at night, warm during the day. Several wineries, great sights on the Blue Ridge Parkway (or right at the campsite for that matter), nearby fishing in trout streams and mountain lakes. You'll love it.

Virginia Highland Haven is also a great stop over point if you're heading to/from the annual Galax Old Time Fiddler's Convention and WBCCI Special Event Rally every August.

FT,
I sent you a pm with the link. The park is just a few hours from Lynchburg.
It is open from May 1st till October 15th.
I have met several forum members while we were up at the park. We keep our A/S up at the park for most if not all of the season and use Highland Haven as our home base!
Can't say enough about the area, it still has the small town feel... friendly people.... not to mention that the cool temps at night.

Virgina Highland link

http://www.vahighlandhaven.org/
We are new Airstreamers and Virginia Highland Haven was the site for our maiden voyage this fall. We have since become shareholders and plan to be there considerably next year for long weekends. It's a two hour drive from Greensboro, between Roanoke, Floyd and Blacksburg and has a WiFi Tower. It opens May 1st for the 07 season.

For those of you who want a break from the summer heat, a refreshing waystop from your travels or a summer home, Highland Haven is a wonderfully peaceful place as we found out this past year. Perched just five miles off the Blue Ridge parkway on a mountain ridgepoint, HH might just be your place! Summertime temperatures are air conditioning free each evening while the hottest part of the summer you'll find you may only turn on the cooling for a couple of hours mid afternoon if at all. HH consists of friendly and welcoming folks of all ages and backgrounds. You'll find a cozy clubhouse, apple orchards, walking trails deep in the woods, a flowing creek with a waterfall and all sorts of opportunities for wildlife viewing including whitetailed deer, Ruff Grouse, Rubythroat Hummingbirds (who nest there in the summer) and Black Bear! Nearby is the quaint town of Floyd with antique and woodworking shops, potters, musicians and wonderful dining opportunities. Come pay us a visit and definitely look us up while there. We have FUN together and I personally can't wait for May 15th so I can return to our spot in the shade of the big Maple tree. Happy Trails

Talking New found popularity

We, too, have been there several times. Considered buying into the plan, however, we have a tendancy to go different directions each year, and decided the place at TCPC was enough.
Just thought it might be to everyone's advantage to contact the host or someone there to make sure there is an available site before making the trip there. We were there once when there were only two available that weekend, and that was prior to all this free publicity!
Gorgeous place!

David,

Having your Airstream is good enough. Some stockholders and some visitors are members while others are not. It matters not. You'll be welcomed.
Happy Trails
