Better yet, how about an area for 'Airstream Parks' under "On the Road"? This seems to be a regular topic.

We're still gathering information and checking for other AS Campgrounds all over the world.

We wrote to Andy (organic hosting) and he was great (as usual). He's probably going to create a direct link to the updated list so that it may be easily accessible to everyone. I'm not sure but it might be on the homepage under 'quick links'. Cool!

We thought of adding two more columns to the list:
1) the urls
2) A 'star' grade (1-5, like hotels).
Forum members, who have actually visited the parks, could vote for them assigning them 1-5 stars, based on: cleanliness, site size, accessibility etc. (still need to determine that, any suggestion highly appreciated).

Thanks Porky,

we had initially thought of adding all those nifty informations as pets allowed, prices etc but then realized it would be very difficult to maintain it's accuracy.

At least now we all know: where these parks are, how to get there (although we'd like to point out that the directions come directly from the parks, not us), phone # and if they offer a WBCCI discount.

At the moment we're adding the urls. Will be emailing everyone who requested a copy as soon as it's complete.

This list should work mainly as a reference not a camping guide. We're not associated with these parks and can't keep up with their rate changes etc. Always call first and make sure they offer what you need.

Can't you Mac guys "print" to a PDF file? While those of us with Office might rather have it as an editable XLS file, some of your fellow Mac users might not have infected their computers with the Microsoft virus and might find the PDF necessary. There might even be some of us in the Borg without Office.

Resistance is futile, you WILL be assimilated -- Microsoft

Wink MAC versus PC: MAC wins

Maurice -

WE ARE MAC USERS!!!!!!

Sure we can print a pdf. Macs can do everything!!

The .xls file (for who has it) is useful because with the filters I've put, you can sort it by any of the columns you need, add any personal columns you wish, keep it on your computer and/or on the rig when you travel.

This does not change the fact that Microsoft will NEVER equal a MAC!. We're supreme and stand alone on the top!

Macs can do everything a PC does and more!! PC's can barely do what they're supposed to!

Unhappy

Sad to say but many AS ONLY parks have either closed or are now just a regular RV park.

We started collecting information for this list back in August and after further investigation we discovered that some parks still call themselves AS Parks on the Blue Beret but for regular business have changed their name to RV Park since they now accept SOBs. Therefore we have erased them from the list.

Here's the latest list with all the 100% confirmed AS ONLY Parks in Bold.

Lightbulb Try this

If you position your cursor over the upper left hand side of the list..You should see a small box pop up..click on the printer icon and, depending on your printer's setup..you should be able to make it viewable, then print it.
Otherwise, if you don't already have an Adobe reader(what you need to read a PDF file), you can download a copy free..Then print it from that.

ciao

Viewing List

The Kimili uploaded JPEG lists that show in the message window are virtually unreadable downloaded and zoomed in or printed. Kimili solved this problem by posting an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. That one downloads, views and prints great.

Kimili, Thanks!

The Holiday Park Campground in Traverse City, Michigan is absolutely beautiful. I"m a bit partial though as I'm a member of this park. The people are very friendly and most are retired. The park sits on the south end of Silver Lake, an all sports lake. There are numerous lake sites but....those are usually occupied by their owners. If you want a lake site, come in the off season. It's gorgeous in October and most members have moved on to their winter homes. The city of Traverse City is beautiful as well. Plenty of fresh water lakes including Lake Michigan for all your boating needs. Golfing and tennis, great restaurants etc etc.
I'm on site 74 if anyone gets up that way. Drop in and say hello.
Park is open April - November 1st.

Airstream Campgrounds

You can put the Minnesota Airstream Park in bold. It is an A/S only park. I am very lucky it is only 15 minutes from my house. Facilities in FREE golf, heated pool, tennis and club room. Sites are available by the day, week, month or season. Shares are also available for purchase.

I have the seventh edition put out in 1998, lists 34 parks, and I think it cost me around 15 bucks or so.

I have to second Bruce on this campground. I was there around the 10th of Nov this year... Wondering if that was your Airstream I saw there.. While it was bone chilling, they allowed me a spot even with it being off-season (the KOA down the road turned me away and sent me there).. Not only is the city very interesting and a blend of interesting archetecture - taking drives down the various bays, seeinf the cherry groves (This city is known as the Cherry Capital of the world)... it is a great place to hang your hat for a few days and tour. And for 4-wheelers, tons of places to go and romp around in whether it be by quad, snow mobile (when it snows) or 4X4...

We're familiar with it but the camps she lists are NOT ALL AS ONLY PARKS!
Some are but others are simply parks she likes.

Our intent is to create an AS ONLY list.

Any info is always appreciated, we'll keep updating the list.

Thanks Pyanke.

Jody,

Glad you had a good time at Holiday Park. Come back again, there are so so many things to do and see.
My unit was in storage for the season, my last visit for the year was mid October. I live about 4 hours away and couldn't risk not winterizing it as it was getting late in the year. Did you happen to get a lake view site?
