airstream on the baja
we have bought a 1959 tradewind in La Paz baja mexico. it needs a complete renovation but we cant find anyone in town that knows how to work on any trailer. anyone know who can reno a trailer and get needed parts?we can tow it to cabo or? any ideas?

Bring it back to the USA. RVs are almost non-existant in Mexico in case you haven't noticed, so everything "RV" will need to be imported - expensive.

Will it fit inside a semi-trailer, maybe with the wheels removed and the body chocked up? Either that or put it on a flatbed trailer and ship it to southern California, Arizona or Texas IMO. The cost of doing this will be repaid, and then some, compared to TRYING to rebuild it south of the border IMO.
