When you say Seattle, do you mean right in the city? Or just the general area.

I assume you are walking on the ferry to Victoria? (VERY expensive for a car/trailer).
There are parking areas around- let me know if you need suggestions.

Sequin State Park is open and pretty nice (a buddy of mine is currently a camp host). West of PA is Salt Creek recreation area- many sites have a great view and hookups
http://www.clallam.net/Parks/SaltCreek.html
Reservations can be made (let me know if you would like suggestions for sites)

I also like Klahowya FS campground (been going there since I was a kid)- west of PA around 40 miles.
Fairholm Park service campground at the end of Lake Crescent is also nice- but probably busier and more $$
Sol Duc Park service camp is very nice also- up a 12 mile paved road, no reservations and most sites have no hookups.

If you have not, take a day trip to Hurricane Ridge- I've hiked and flown all over the Olympics and it has one of the best views anywhere. I suggest early morning on a nice day. There are several other places I can recommend for day trips also.

There is a KOA in Kent close to Seattle. Also some nice places out on the east side. Issaquah and or Monroe. There is also the the AS tera-port in Lacey. It's cheap but a ways away from Seattle proper.

Second on Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, WA. If you stay there be sure to go over to Anderson School of McMennamins in Bothell for a meal or drink.

There is a nice Airstream park in the Tacoma area. Nice park and quite cheap for Airstreamers only.

The Washington Airstream Park is in Lacey, 5-10 miles north of Olympia, about half an hour south of Tacoma & an hour south of Seattle. The plus is that it's inexpensive for AS owners; the minus is that it's not more than a large gravel parking lot (with hook-ups), about 5 minutes off I-5, and an hour south of Seattle. There are a ton of, mainly WA State, campgrounds/RV parks that are more pleasant but more expensive. If you want to park your AS & then go see the sites around Puget Sound, the WA Airstream Park is great. If you want to park your AS and stay there and relax, there are many others that are more woodsy, watery, shady, quiet, private, etc.

We live near Seattle and have twice visited Gilgal Oasis for our first of the season shakedown because it is reliably dry and sunny there. Easy access to Victoria and Olympic NP. A small park that is well maintained.

Closer to our home and nearer to Seattle is Vasa Park. A small private park right on Lake Sammamish in Issaquah (HQ of Costco). A very convenient location. My in-laws always camped in their 5th wheel here when visiting us. We stored our Airstream there last winter.

There are many others, but these I have first hand knowledge of and are convenient, pleasant, and well managed.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest!

You just can't beat the value of the Washington Land Yacht RV Park. Sure...it is a bit sparce of amenities but the people are great and there is a lot to see and do within a very small radius. We stayed there for about ten nights last year and will be going back this year again. It is quiet safe and secure.

The Washington State Fairgrounds at Puyallup has an RV park. Reasonably priced. http://www.thefair.com/plan-your-trip/rv-parking

We stayed at Lake Pleasant and liked it ok. Olympic NP... Don't know if your going to the coastal part, but if you do you may want to consider the NP campground in Kalaloch. I heard that there is another place in Forks that is supposed to be nice. Enjoy your trip!

Vasa Park is very close to Seattle. Never stayed there, but it's an easy excursion to the city.
Highly recommend Salt Creek recreation campground http://www.clallam.net/Parks/SaltCreek.html. Easy trip to Hurricane Ridge and the ferry to Victoria (walk on the ferry and taxi on the other end).

Wherever you go, make sure to go online and book places to stay. September is terrific here (unless it's not )
