A Plug for the SS Exterior Shower Door . . .

I spent 4 days at the factory in January getting warranty repairs and wandered around way too much in the little Airstream Store next to the waiting area. I decided to replace the outside plastic shower door cover with the spendy stainless steel version that Airstream had in a display on the wall. I never checked it out after installation, just headed straight home as soon as my repairs were done.
When I recently de-winterized, I unlocked the pretty little door to spray the antifreeze out of the shower hose and lo and behold! there was a beautiful metal shower nozzle and hose behind the door.

I thought the install was just a door replacement, not the whole kit and caboodle.

What makes this a really happy ending is that it is SO MUCH FRIGGIN' EASIER to get that hose and nozzle out and stored back inside its compartment now. My former white plastic version was always a bear to shove back into the box. Worth it? To me, yes!

A nice surprise, Happy Birthday. I replaced that plastic hose also because one of the ends had cracked.
