A personal (toilet paper) question....

Seriously just install a bidet and the other half of your life begins. Well like just about every other country but ours. Minimal amount of TP used goes in a waste basket, then you are open to choose whichever brand/ply you like. You will be amazed at how much less time you spend at a dump station or your full service site flushing debris from your black tank. [emoji16]

We just use Charmin Ultra Soft at all times in the Airstream. Works fine, falls apart quickly, pumps out with SewerSolution easily. Never a problem.

DW prefers the stuff, so that’s the end of that discussion. It’s much cheaper than any so-called RV toilet paper and dissolves better in the tank.

Truly a first world problem. I just received my first order of Happy Campers. Ordered it based on rave reviews here. Followed directions and dosed tank with it last night. Will dump tomorrow or Saturday and report results.

Fill 3/4 and drive around a bit first, the slosh action helps.

We use them at home and can't do without now. The saving on the paper nightmare is a bonus! I am trying to install one I purchased in our newest AS and can't seem to find the right kind of plumbing adapter to make the hose T fit. Can you tell me what size you used and where you purchased it?

Many thanks!

Yep... just insist your guests put the fecal paper in the waste basket. 🤮
Is it really that hard to outsmart a toilet?
Our potty has worked fine for 17yrs...paper and all.

So if you are a morning person and the night has been on the cool side....how do you deal with the 45 degree water on the bum?
Just wondering?

A personal (toilet paper) question....

Sounds like the very definition of “pucker factor”.

Side note: we installed a real bidet with hot and cold running water in the master bedroom of our house in Alabama. I had to evoke the scene from Crocodile Dundee to explain what it was for to a couple of the local construction workers.

Thank you, Downhill502. I somehow didn't order the right connector. I will take your photo and the parts I have to the hardware store and try again. The bidet I have is the same brand so this should work the same way. I really appreciate your help.

Now if I could just install a Toto washlet toilet in the AS like we have at home!

Another toilet paper thread or any other thread is fine. Some of those old threads recommend using a phone book!

Agree, we use the same and have never hasp a problem!

For 5 years full timing, we never put paper into our black tank, using a small stainless food recycling container with 4 gallon bag instead. Just before the "plague" this year, we installed an "Omego" washlet bidet, and have pretty much gone paperless. (We smiled seeing folks hoarding T.P. at the beginning of Covid.) For a number of years I worked in Asia, becoming accustomed to bidets, but upon returning stateside fell back into our customary system. We here don't know how good we can have it! Think about how much our environment will be sustained by the elimination of T.P?
Regardless, droping T.P. in a lined can and easily disposing it in the trash is quite easy and sanitary. Your black tank will be happy, and dumping issues eliminated.
