27' or 28' That's the question

Almost every reference on this forum to AS TT's says 27'. Whether it's a Safari SE, Safari standard, Classic or International. The dealer also refers to them as 27'.
However, the Airstream literature refers to them as 28'.
What's the straight scoop?
Wife is really pushing to upgrade from our 22AS now that we're conviced we really like 'Streamin'.
TIA
FT

The Safari/International FB 27's are really 28'.

Take a look at Airstream's TT page. Open up both the Safari & Classic product lines, then click specifications. You will see a variety of measurements and slightly different offerings under each line -- length is bumper to ball.

Maybe it's more of a floorplan distinction rather than the length. I think of the 28' CCDs and 28' Classic and Safaris as having a particular floorplan. I think of the 27' as being front bedroom, rear dinette.
