2,200 miles in 15 Days

Just returned from a great trip - 15 days, 14 nights and 2,200 miles. We set our pace not to exceed 400 miles on any given day with the reward being 7 nights in Key West and 4 nights in Fort Myers.
Trip as follows:
1. Wilmington, NC to Brunswick, GA (note fantastic overnight park right off of 95 - Coastal Georgia RV Resort - highly recommend)
2. Brunswick, GA to Vero Beach, FL - (not so highly recommend place!)
3. Vero Beach, FL to Key West, FL for 7 nights - Bluewater Key RV Resort - absolutely stunning place, we've already made reservations to go back next November!
4. Key West, FL to Fort Myers, FL via Alligator Alley (75) for 4 nights - Again, a fantastic place to stay there called Cypress Trail - very nice!
5. Fort Myers, FL to Brunswick, GA (back to Coastal Georgia RV Resort)
6. Brunswick, GA to Wilmington, NC - back home
Super trip and we met a lot of fellow Streamers and great folks!

Very jealous, just trip we plan to do as soon as I retire. A little longer from Utah but have been to KW several times and love the drive down from Miami.

Good to hear Bluewater Key RV resort was as good as it seems from reading about it.

Great trip. Blue Water key is one of our favorite places to stay.

Great trip. Last year from OR, we did @13k miles 3 months to tx, the gulf down to Key West (boyds and fiesta key), up to Atlanta, myrtle beack, raliegh, greenville sc, washington mo then home. Now in Mo, and seeing the BW rv resort pics have started to talk about the keys again. Another reason for the move to Mo. It didn't just seem like forever to get somewhere from OR..it was forever!

Hey... watch the negative Vero Beach comments! :-)

Next time try Sebastian Inlet SP. Be sure to go to the jetty on the north side of the inlet (the campground is on the south side).

Thanks - we do love Vero Beach, excellent location as we used to live in Stuart. This place was called Sunshine Travel RV Park and oh my - one and done! It wasn't even in VB but was advertised as such!
