That is one I would like to see in person! Maybe I am a little off here, but for $145,000.00 you would kind of expect it to be absolutely mint.

I bet you could turn some heads with that trailer!

Checking my change jar now. That is quite a price. A large number of photos make it a good visit. I'll bet the $80K bid is a sockpuppet.

Don't nobody bid early and run it up. Wait for the last 15 minutes!

I'll put this on my next Friday to-do list. Right down there with ESPN 'Not Top Plays.'

I'd camp in it. After hauling it to the rally in an enclosed trailer.

It's good to see it has the original taillights. I looked inside the Bowlus at the JC mothership -- very narrow accommodations, though no doubt good for the times. And chest-thumpin' great today!

I know it's rare and all, but that thing is ugly! Can't get past that front shape.

Be a lot cheaper to just get a V-hull aluminum boat, turn it upside down, and mount it backwards on utility trailer

The old thing does look pretty cool, but I wouldn't spend that kind of jack on it even if I did have it laying in the cookie jar. I'd build one for 1/10 that price first.

Still, it is pretty cool looking...

Pretty cheap compared to a new pair of hightops.

For that kind of moola you'd think they would at least tow it from the right end. It'd be easier to get in too...

Anyone know where to get the wheels that are on that trailer? They might look good on a Spartan!

This thread does for me (the comments) about what I feel on looking at Harley-Davidsons: They want how much for a $7k motorcycle?!!

But the trailer has a one of kind appeal. The buyer won't be financing it, so the $$ is sorta irrelevant to that crowd. They pay more than that for a wristwatch.

First thing the $$ buyer will do is turn it over to a restorer and spend another 100K. RedNax your right, we have to remember numbers like this to most is a lot of money, but chump change for the few.
