What the heck is it??

O.K., I bought & restored this unusual vintage trailer. Anybody with any idea what it is? The wheels appear to be a three lug Renault looking set up, so it may be French? Had a European license plate, & a canvas that looked like it would make a tent set up with the back door opened. There is a wooden insert under the top with an icebox and lots of fold out storage...very cleaver design. Any information would be appreciated.

Looks like a snack wagon to me!

"Un wagon-restaurant" as they say in French...

Shore looks purdy, a mighty fine li'l wagon there!

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

Very interesting! Awesome job in the restoration, too. Looks very sharp.
Any indications as to how old it is?

Thanks Bill. No real indications other than late 30's style fenders. It had a tag on the water tank but could not get any info from it. Even had a buddies wife that works at the crime lab check it at work to see if they could lift any info from the tag...nothing.
