Vintage Trailer Show - Call for trailers!

As part of Tucson Modernism Week, join other vintage trailer owners and trailer enthusiasts for the 6th annual Tucson Modernism Week Vintage Trailer Show, October 13 & 14, 2018.

We are looking for very cool vintage trailers, from approximately 1940 to 1972, that are original or fully restored/refurbished for the show. This is a fundraising event for Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation. Entry fee is $50 per trailer.

Participants get electric hookup, one night free hotel, a welcome reception, free admission to most Modernism Week events October 8 - 14, 2017 *, and a chance to win the Mod-Can Award for best Trailer.

Application to participate is attached to this post. Comment here or email trailers@tucsonmod.com with questions

Hope you get plenty of entrants.

And, as Boles Aero, Streamline, Silver Streak and Avion petered away thru about 1990, I’d recommend a selection of those later years as well. A good handful. 1972 is just too early despite ideas about “Modernism”. In which case 1964 would be a better cut-off.

Thanks for your comment. Since this trailer show is under the bigger event of Tucson Modernism Week, we try and keep the trailers in the show to that mid century modern era, though we extended it to the 1970s to have more potential trailers! You are correct that 1960s would be a more accurate cut off. As the 1990s get further into the past, we may include them, but as of right now it's not our target for the event, though I do love seeing those trailers as well.

We are still accepting trailers for the event!
