The Snow is ALMOST gone! Time to get busy....

I can finally get to the Airstream. I took a lot of pictures, now I just need to figure out where to start. So much work...but plenty of time the first picture was taken just last week. The second was taken yesterday! Love the sunshine!

Okay...silly question, but I really don't know. What are the 2 round pipes in the last picture?

Is the antenna factory stock or is it an add on? There is a black knob on the wall inside that I think may be for tuning in the antenna, but I havn't tried it.

The two round pipes might be for under trailer storage of drain hoses, flag poles etc.

BTW that is actually a Silver Streak not an Airstream isn't it? Cool trailer.

Not an Airstream for sure. Looks to be a 1969 30 footer. Very nice rig and incredibly well built. It does not have the iconic reputation an Airstream does, so many are appalled when say "better than an Airstream."

Sewer hose/ flag pole holder is correct as Denny pointed out. You have a real gem there, missing many of the inherent issues Airstreams have.

Title says it is a 1971 Silverstream. I haven't done a real measurement as the snow took over before I could get out there, but pretty sure it is either a 29 or 31 footer, but I haven't figured out how to determine what model it is. I love it, and can't wait to get busy! Thanks to you both for letting me know what those pipes are for! My first of many questions for sure.

Titles are often wrong. A human must enter the data and well we are human. Ball to bumper is how you measure. Now that you know it is a Silver Streak, you will find it easier to research....

As someone mentioned in an earlier post, the tail lights are not the correct ones. Does anyone know of a source for replacement lights?

I just realized I called my trailer an Airstream in my original post. Sorry, it is actually a 1971 Streamline. Was reading too many Airstream blogs

I have a 1965 Duke (28 ft). The each model of Silverstream was a different length to the best of my knowledge. Duke, Dutchess, etc. I have an original price list for 1965, but there are electronic copies online at Streamline Brochures Listing Page along with a streamline manual. Not sure if your year is there, but it is a great start.

Thanks Larry. Love Tom's Web Page, but unfortunately there is not much there on the '71. I have spent a lot of time there though. There is a great deal of information that applies to most, if not all, of them.

I believe the later 60's / early 70's Streamlines switched to rectangular lights, so yours might be correct.

Those two tubes are for the grey and black water hoses.

Any recent work or trips?
