That's a really neat truck camper. I would love to have it and use, but I feel that it wouldn't be right to do that as it is a piece of automotive and RV history, more suited to a museum setting.

I would also love to see the inside of the camper.

The same Mecum link says 'No Sale' and that bids would still be accepted on this truck & camper.

A Steve McQueen 1931 Harley sold for $75K and a 1969 racing truck associated with him went for $60K, so the reserve on the truck/camper can't be super high. (Results)

Somebody please buy this and exhibit it at the AIRForums headquarters! We promise to display it in the lobby behind bullitt-proof glass. Or the roof. You pick where you want it...
