Spartan Motorhome

I know this is not Airstream, but it's aluminum related. I found a Spartan Imperial Mansion that is a motorhome. A converted trailer with a 69 Cadillac front wheel drive 472 motor. I'll have pictures of it tomorrow. It's straight. Supposed to run, but needs front suspension. I can get it for a steal. I'll post pictures of it tomorrow. Never seen anything like it. Has anyone else.

Never seen

that particular combination, but they are out there There is one up in the Manassas, VA area that is made out of a 59 caddy with a Shasta trailer for the body. There was a company that used to specialize in that type of conversion/custom. Don't recall the name but I believe somone posted links on this board sometime back. Can't wait to see the pictures

Spartan MH find

Has anyone ever seen one of these. It has a 1969 Cady front wheel drive drivetrain. It's really neat, and I'm thinking of getting it. I know it's not Airstream, but it's all aluminum....

10 pictures

I have about 10 pictures, but they are all too big to post here. Size limits...killing me. If you want to see this beast, email me at alpinerob@ec.rr.com. This trailer / motorhome sits about 1.5 miles from me and the guy wants little to nothing for it. I can't pass it by.

If you open them up in Photo Shop, Paint Shop or any photo editing software program and reduce the size by 50% or so (depending on your starting size), they should post just fine...

The maximum size allowed is: 600x450 or 450 x 600

Let me know if you still have troubles ~

Keep trying! I think you cropped it instead of resizing it...

Worth

So, if I get this thing running, cleaned up, what is something like this worth. Going to be fun....all shined up, driving down the road, getting the looks.

Spartan/Cadillac sighting

Estes Park CO had a car show in August that had this really cool car & trailer. Owner was letting people walk through the trailer. Build after WWII when Spartan switched over from making airplanes to travel trailers.
