McAlester, OK, east 270 Haileyville, trailer in junk lot
Towing home the other day on 270 I saw a trailer in a salvage yard on the south side of 270 in Haileyville/Hartshorn, just east of where 63 connects. (google maps 34.853204,-95.570721)
Anyone out there drive this regular and would like to take a picture or if even more adventurous, check it out. I know the rear window is out.
It has been eating at me. I know it is not an Airstream, but a nice aluminum trailer.
I have searched the web for a like picture to get to know the brand but cannot find what I think I saw. It aluminum in color, corrugated (like shasta sides). It has rounded corners (I think) and a gold band at window height.
Just dreaming. If I had free storage, I would buy it for the future.

I think that you may be right. They look much more "square" in their shape.

Well, a couple phone calls to businesses in the area and called the owner. It's not for sale.
Robin, my plan was to buy it and hide it at your place for a while. Wife is not too keen on me starting another project.

There is one like it north of Ogden, Utah.
It's been for sale about a year $2000
I stopped and asked about it....it is sitting at the father in laws home and I talked with the father in law, he told me he thinks the owner would entertain just about any offer.
It has some minor damage on the curb side, interior is still all there and not too bad......just dirty!!!!
I was tempted, but wanted something a bit older like the 46 Spartan I got.
If there is any interest I could drive out and get a few photos and a phone number.

Thanks for offer. It was good that the OK trailer was not for sale. I have no place for it.
