Interior design for Old Airstream

Hello:
I have a 1949 SS much like the Airstream Clipper and I want to redesign and upgrade it.It has the all aluminum interior walls and cabinets which I want to keep in place.The unit has the 12v and 120v electric system but no panel box. Has no bathroom and I would like at least a toilet and lav.I can send photos if needed.Please email me any info that would inspire me to finish this project.

What a great project... I'm sure you can get the electrical looked after, one of the basic things. I would also imagine that you could get a bathroom worked into it, but you want to think about weight and tanks of water and waste. We just installed a composting toilet that we've used one weekend, a lot lighter than a flush toilet and actually pretty cool.
