We have had our trailer (1984
Sovereign, Rear bath, middle twins) for 6 months or so and have been having a ball. But it "IS" 27 years old and we have never owned an Airstream before, so am I focused on fixing the right things? And when I fix something, am I doing it right?
Forums to the rescue, I see a neighbor (same city) on the forums and with a quick pm, ask if he would be willing to do a walkthru. Not only did he say yes, but he called another Corpus resident and they both showed up today.
We talked hitches, sway bars, clear-coat, sealing around the windows, tires and wheels and axles and brakes, painting, air-conditioning unit and more..I took numerous notes and now have a pretty good idea of what my priorities need to be. I also got confirmation that our Old Guy is in pretty good shape for his age.
Thanks so much Ross and Bob. Pretty nice to have a Stream Team show up with no agenda other than to provide wisdom and offers to assist.
Gotta luv the Forums...
