Guess This Trailer (Not an AS)
I saw this at Viento SP in Oregon and thought it was a fantastic trailer (for not being an AS). I did not see a rock chip or dent. It was factory fresh on the outside.
I didn't meet the owners so I was unable to get the easy answers.
I don't know what it is, can one of you wise trailer people solve the mystery of brand and year?

Looks like an early 1940's Shult.

I was thinking a Shult as well. The body is very typical of a mid to late'40s rig.
Page 96 of Trailer Trash shows an ad for a Zimmer with the identical paint scheme.

Here is a pic of a Shult from the Atlas Mobil Home Museum:

That sure looks like you got it. I wonder if the owners modified it or if this was a more deluxe version, with the larger windows and all?

There is a similar looking trailer here in Hood River, but it is painted beige and light brown and has a raised center roof section with side lites. I'll try to track it down and get a shot.

Late 40's Westwood
Hello,
The trailer reminds me of a late 1940's Westwood Tahoe.

I agree.
Looks bigger than a Tahoe though with the extra window.
Maybe it's a Suburban?

I thought the Shult had a bit of a rake on the front? With the roof leading.

I agree with Ritchie Rich that it's a Westcraft Westwood Coronado, ALTHOUGH the window to the right of the door is larger than the windows I have seen on the Westwood....but maybe it was an option. Here is a picture of another restored 1947 Coronado.

My wife and I just towed home a 1948 Coronado that, while needing some work, is in remarkably good condition. Now the fun begins to bring her back to her original luster.
