Couldn't help myself...New Spartan
As I was walking out the door my girlfriend asked (with one hand on her hip) if I was going to buy it...and I said I was sure I wasn't....
Well, I got one look at it and couldn't help it...
She's in amazing shape for her age, no real pitting, no panels that need replacing, everything still inside to make replicas of...a dream...
Now the only question...how do I tell my girlfriend??

Don't tell - it will be alright. She will never know. I'm sure you will be fine.
I keep telling myself that stuff on the way home. Never works out the way I plan.
How is the couch tonight?

For her:
Flowers, Chocolates, bottle of Champagne, a kiss, a few hundred "I love you more than the trailer baby", an apology...
For you:
A blow up mattress
A sleeping bag
and the hope there isn't actually a dog house for you to sleep in.

When I first read your thread where you said "She's in amazing shape for her age" I thought; How old is the girl friend? Then I realized you must be talking about the Spartan. LOL

Yeah, uh, and doubtful there's any pitting on her "bumpers", either.

Great ideas. I think I'll go with a big red bow on it and yell Merry Christmas!!! And then I'll give her her other present...a brand new sawsaw!

That is one sweet skin! (uh, talking about the trayla here) but it looks like you are missing one of the front wraparound windows.
Where the dickens do you get those these days!?

HA!
Yea, the skin (of the trailer) really surprised me! That was the main reason I had to get it... The front windows in these trailers were actually plexiglass, so it's not all that hard to replace them: Window*Replacement « The Center for Sustainable Practice in the Arts

OK, well, that's luck, doubt if real automotive glass would be able to be found in that shape.
And WOW! wait till you get that level of polish done. Your skin is smoother than his, I think, yours will be just out of this world...

The "HA" was about the "Talking about the trailer" bit
I sure do think it will shine up nice. I'm planning to do the same thing I'm doing with my Airstream...no polish until all the rest of the work is done...the polishing will be the icing on the cake!

Got her home!
Got the Spartan home finally...well, home being out at my farm until I finish the airstream
I was worried that I would regret getting her and having her sit for 6 months to a year while I get my other trailer finished, but after searching for other Spartans just to test the water I realize how few and far between these trailers are, especially in this shape.
