Any idea what this is?

A friend ran across this while on a trip today and sent me pictures. Any idea what it is and year range? Two exterior doors, one on each side..

Looks like an old Westfield? or anyone of half a dozen other brands from the same era.

I think she could be saved! Just a little new metal, wood and everything else it takes to build a new one just like her

I saw a restored trailer vaguely like that near Point Reyes Natl Seashore last September, but it wasn't the same and I can't remember the name either. It did have doors on each side. I'd date it anytime after the Bronze Age.

It'll look really nice when you're finished fixing it up. Send photos of your progress and wear moon suit while inside.

If you want to spend some time looking through the old trailer ads, you may find one here that looks like what you found:

Gene, wouldn't touch this with a 1000000000000 mile pole. It no doubt could be a project for someone, but I already have two trailers, 1 tow vehicle, and a list of projects longer than the above mentioned pole.

I'll check out the museum link when I get some down time tomorrow and see what I can find. Just interested to know what it is. Thanks!

Not exactly the same... but close. Caption on the photo gives a date of 1946.

That's a straight eight 1946 Chrysler New Yorker tow car. Note the plastic wheel trims, a substitute for whitewalls which were not available that year.
