Can you provide at little more info like what we are looking at where it is and is the back side accessible?

Looks like right at the front rock guard, but I am guessing.

The crack is in the front right side behind the rock guard. It was in the shop for an unrelated issue and this is how we got it back. Don't know how it happened.

SUGGESTIOON: Go out and scrape at that crack with your thumbnail and a bit of paint thinner. Photos can be deceiving, but it looks like tar or vulkum on the surface rather than a crack. You just might get lucky.

Looks like a fatigue issue. Make a patch to seal it up.
Be creative and make up a good story!
There is a thread here on patches.

Airstream crack
Shape of the “crack” does not make sense. I’d scrape at it with a fingernail and see if it’s just a smear or “string” of sealant. Cracks usually don’t turn sharp corners like that. Weird.
If it’s not on surface, the bracket took a hell of a hit to punch a hole. Patch time...

Although odd, I had an identical issue on my older 91 classic.
I lost an acorn nut, and due to flapping in the wind, I got a fatigue crack exactly like this.
Made a patch sealed with Lexel and riveted. Can only see if you know what to look for.

It is definitely a crack, and I don't see any acorn nuts missing, so... There is a tiny dent on the edge of the rock guard directly in front of the crack, so I'm guessing it was hit hard with something at the shop. I'll look into patching it. Thanks for the help!
