Thanks, I'm all over it, there is a Forum for Spartans just like this one, well not just like but same basic idea. I have been on there asking questions and solving some of their puzzles as I go along.

We came by a vintage fridge "fridge" for Rosie, a 50's Fridgadaire!
Plugged it in last night, just checked the temp, right at 33.3º

It has been a while since the last update. I think we have decided on a plan for the lay out. After who knows how many repositioning of the bath, stove and such, we settled on this.
This page will show the roughed in progress of the interior.

Update 3-2-09

Made new skirting last week, form .032 Aclad, when the weather turns warmer I can work on replacing all the damaged pieces.
Did some wiring this past weekend, is 10 AC outlets too many?
Made the roadside counter cabinet frame to see how thing will position. getting a better idea how things will be situated now.

So, how do you eat an elephant? One bit at a time. How do you do a full Monte, one hour at a time.....

Something to keep in mind if you are doing home renovations (or trailer renovations)

10 AC outlets is not too many. If you add them during construction they cost $5 apiece. If you need to add one after the job is finished they cost at least $100 apiece. So if you are in doubt put a few in. From an old home renovator/electrician.

I hear ya, I put one everywhere I thought I'd plug something in.
Love the new power panel, has plenty of spots for breakers. I'll have 6 breakers, I think when I'm done. There are at least a dozen DC fuse's in there too, that will be the next phase.

Yet another good weekend!

Got a jump start with the warm weather! Restored Roof Vent installed! Works like new now! Plugged a bunch of holes with Olympic rivets. All the shiny insulation is installed, thanks to Susan!

Also, work has started on the Cabinetry

Too Cool!

Between that refer and stove, I have kitchen appliance envy. Very nice.

Here is a pic with them side by side. That is not the stand, only a temporary one to get a feel for the height and work on prepping for paint.

Outstanding work as usual. Do you plan to camp in Rosie this season?

I recently spotted a very large Spartan, looking lonely in a field, a couple of towns away from me. I might have to have a look see. Just for grins.

Our goal is to have it camp-able by the Vintage Trailer Jam. Fingers crossed!!!

Last nights rain located a couple leaks. It sure is good to have this weather. I am close to final insulating and then walls. Need to be absolutely certain I get all the holes plugged! Hard to leak check when water instantly freezes

I'm still here, kinda laid back for the winter.

Furnace is in. Electric is in, 10 AC outlets!

Laminate floor 80% down. Have stopped by the door for the winter season.

The windows in the front have been a set back, I will be making frames, the lexan I had made WILL NOT go into the gaskets. After hours and hours of attemps with help form some ole time window repair guys I threw in the towel. I have a plan tho!
