A weekend away

Our first get a way of the season
I thought I would share this. We managed a local trip to the woods with our AS and used one of our classics, the 1941 Dodge cab over. Lots of waves on the highway. Great weekend getaway. Here is a night shot. Hopefully we can get some more nights out in the near future. We miss the open road.

Amazing setup! When you get a chance, take a photo with the entire truck...would love to see it.

Here's a couple shots of the 1941 Dodge, it's on a 98 3/4 ton Dodge van chassis with a 360. The 1948 Chev panel is our other tow vehicle, it's powered by a 350. It was a low mileage ambulance from a mine and stored for many years, I'm the second owner and spent nine years doing the restoration. Both were built with towing in mind, we pull the 1973 23ft AS with no problem. We'll hit the road for 3 or 4 months next year after the Covid crisis settles down. The Dodge pulled the trailer from British Columbia to Newfoundland and back with out any problems, fun to drive and you sit high off the ground for a great view. Glad you enjoyed the photo.

You obviously like to take the road less traveled and I think thatís pretty cool!
