I just brought home a 16' Travelux single-axel camper with a rear washroom. Most of the interior was gutted and reworked when I bought it. I'm very curious to find out the actual year of this camper. I'm located near Sydney, NS.
hello, i have a 1969 Travelux, 24 footer. your bathroom cabinets, exhaust fan, etc are identical to mine, as is your control panel.
i assume you do not have an ownership for it, as that would certainly tell you. your option is to look at the serial number which is usually stamped on the tongue of the trailer frame.
travelux kid was trying to put together a list of serial numbers and related years for info purposes that would help.
dont know if that is available or not yet. i gathered some info on these trailers, some from travelkid's post and some firsthand, and some from the net. willing to share. also traced and drew up a wiring diagram for my trailer.
As best I have been able to determine, Travelux was in business making trailers in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada from early 1966 until early 1979. At least I have seen advertisments for new Travelux trailers dated from March 1966 thru July 1979. That said, I do not know how to determine the age of your Travelux.
