The order was placed through Camping World Denver, he'll do custom work too, so you could have your favorite photograph converted into a laser panel. Wendy

Streamrollin, I like those fridge panels. I have the wooden front and thought if I were to update the doors I would like black to match the oven and range hood and microwave. Those laser engraved panels are very cool. I like your choice of graphic for the Airstream. It's very inviting. New drapes will make a big visual difference too. please do keep us updated on your progress too.

Tinman I can't wait to see what your choice for upholstery will be I like red and then I would probably opt for stripes but maybe you have a nice pattern chosen already. Those light fixtures are nice and I like how you have left the front panels to reflect kalidescope fashion. Wish our AS had the wheels insulated that well! Please keep posting your progress. I like your security system it no only keeps strangers at bay and alerts you but can also warm your feet on a cold night or lick your face to make you laugh.

Fly at night we would love to see your interior. I love seeing how people express themselves in their Airstreams. And they say we all look alike... not so at all.

What a great thread. Ideas , ideas, ideas....
We are taking this summer to do some basic mods. Ripped out the carpet and old sofa, wood floors almost complete..New recliners in.
Just noticed the oatmeal box, funny. Left over from a trip I suppose..

Hi Carol,

I love being a lookie-loo too. We may all look alike on the outside, but that crucial individualism is definitely the common denominator when it comes to the interior.

I started a thread called Style on the Road - Part 1 - Tableware. I accidentally deleted my first photos, but added a couple extra in the thread. If you haven't seen it, it's a great place to see some of the choices many here have made in regards to "Tableware."

I'm thinking of starting another thread called Style on the Road - Part 2 - The Lounge really soon. I'll post lots of pictures of how I'm doing the FAN's lounge area.
Look forward to seeing your pictures too!

Oatmeal's good for the cholesterol!

Love the recliners. Some of those old AS sofas are kinda homely, IMO.

Fly at Night Like your style (on the road 1.) Thanks for posting the link. I have to admit my tableware leaves much to the imagination. I need something cool like shown in your thread. A lounge thread style part 2 will be fantastic! More more more, please. I see your plane over the dinette and then there's your forum name are you a pilot? Love the silver bowls and green turquoise and orange dinnerware, all perfect for the Airstream. You've got me thinking...

Onemanclan : That is an impressive amount of work. Ours, post 183, is our 5 year plan. We figure this will get us 5 years at least and then we will decide whether to gut it and start over or trade away. But Skye looked at your post, ignored all the hard work and said "OOOOO I love the beads!" so now, we are off on a bead hunt. I guess I need some that will last at least 5 years...

Hi wheel!

I'm not a pilot, but love vintage aviation.

Thanks for liking my style. I've added a bathroom "style" thread lately - not a lot of interest.

Will post one for the lounge soon.

Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds.

Here is my 82 limited 34'. It is a work in progress. New floors, countertops, curtains. Polishing is coming up sometime.
She doesn't have a name yet...that will have to be earned along the way I guess!

I am uploading pics from my phone...Hopefully they attach right.

A grey, drizzly day here on the westcoast. C'mon inside the "Fly at Night." It's a good day to host my open house......

People sometimes ask why I named it the Fly at Night. Two reasons:
I was initially freaked about towing a 27' trailer, so figured I might be doing most of my driving at night (less congested airspace!)

Secondly, I like airplanes (especially old airplanes). I figured Airstreams were a lot like the golden days of airline travel. Getting there was all part of the excitement (day or night). It's not so much about the destination; it's really about the journey......

So, let's get going. The coffee is fresh and hot....

Milk?........

Sugar?......

I've lit a welcoming candle -- pardon me -- turned it on. It's a battery operated. This newbie is still nervous about being around propane....

I've even fixed a few nibbles from my favourite cookbook, Surreal Gourmet Bites. See the Airstream on the cover?......

But...wait a minute. I think I've lost my appetite. What's that smell? Oh no! Don't tell me the beagle has done it again! She's gone and rolled in the manure. See that yellow-green smear behind the right ear?.....

Someone is getting a bath.

Stay there and enjoy your coffee.

I'll be back in a bit......

A nice photograph, set up and executed by Mrs "David Bailey" Toad, sometime in summer. It's an entirely unmodified International Serenity, by the way, and very serene it is too.

Very warm and inviting, MrUK.

Sorry that I couldn't get back to my open house. I decided the trailer floor needs washing before I take pictures, then was sidetracked. Will get them up shortly.

In the meantime, I'll show you what I have stuck on the Fly at Night's fridge. Explains my philosophy while on the road.......

lewis, naaah. Unlike most of the airlines these days, I can do better than peanuts.

Finally got the floor (and dog) washed, so here's some pictures. I already posted some of the bathroom.....
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f483...oom-81816.html

The bedroom is a work in progress.

Here's the lounge/dinette/kitchen........

Come on in!
