October 2023 Photo Challenge
OK, people, the September Photo Challenge was a disappointment to say the least--not a single entry! Now that summer is over, how 'bout we rehash the "Beautiful Fall Foliage with an Airstream" theme... Airstream to be featured prominently, either inside or out. I know you've all been there, done that, and should have plenty of new and old pictures in your galleries. It's time to move on and get some interest back in this thread!!

Ahhhh, Fall.....when it is still 93 degrees on October 1 in Houston (today).
Well, I always look forward to Fall, when the leaves fall because of Nature's plan, instead of months-long draught (again, today). Reminds me of the good old days when I might at least wear long pants...and lift the shell off my trailer (yes, this is an old picture, and I have more, if you are looking for some truly artistic stuff).
Speaking of old pictures--historical fun fact--pictured here are the proto-type gantry frames that have become a fairly ubiquitous feature of many rebuilders' existences.

Heading out next week for a several days. I hope to catch some fall color but it might be a couple weeks early.
Hopefully others with a better eye and camera skills can entertain the rest of us.

Currently camping a Cape Hatteras National Park CG and surf fishing. Not all fall pics have to have leaves. Carolina blue sky in the day and a nice sunset in the afternoon. Hard to beat. $10 a nite with the Senior lifetime pass.

Fall in the Ozarks
The fall weather is here in Arkansas. 70’s & 80’s during the day and 40’s at night but the leaves haven’t really started to change quite yet. I would expect by the weekend they will. Still beautiful sunny days and cool nights with beautiful sunsets.

An unbelievable day for October 5 at Pacific Beach, Washington State. The 6th was even more spectacular. The Sun's heat is leaving the Continental U.S. and headed for the Orient.

Fall Colours
When we think of fall landscapes rarely do we consider the prairies. I live close to the mountains and the fall colours against mountain backdrops are fantastic. So, though, are fall prairie landscapes in a subtle, more serene way. Gentle slopes festooned with ripe grasses or colourful river valleys provide an an autumn beauty in their own unique way. Pictures from other Saskatchewan and Alberta.
