October 2022 Photo Contest
Thank you for choosing us to host this months contest. This is our favorite thread for it's positivity and showing us the beautiful ways folks use and travel in these beautiful capsules.
It is difficult to come up with a fresh topic as so many have been used these past years.
This months theme will be "Campsites". The image should include an Airstream in the photo.

Very Nice!
Love seeing how everyone sets up their special spot. Always checking out the various camping accouterments. Checking out your chairs, coolers, table accessories, trailer lights etc.
So much fun.

It's Silver Lake in the June Lake Loop. Convict Lake is a little further south.

Picture # 1 - Lomond CG, Newfoundland. I hate to copy Waterbeach but I had this one in mind before his post as it is such a great view and fantastic CG.
Pictures #2 and #3 - Brimstone Head on Fogo Island, Newfoundland. CG run by the Lions Club and you have to take a ferry from Newfoundland to get there. Pic #2 is our campsite with Brimstone Head in the background. Pic #3 is from the top of our Brimstone head hike looking back to our campsite. The airstream is in the picture in the middle right near the green roof if you zoom in. Amazing sunsets but had none with the Airstream in the picture and I think we are limited to 3 pics.

Well, if you don't mind......
I'm going to add a couple more from our Newfoundland trip. The main reason is that if anyone ever goes to Newfoundland, these are 2 more out of the way CG's that you probably would not find on your own.
1st pic is Kingspoint Municipal CG. We were not able to get on the WBCCI caravan (next up on the waitlist but no opening). One of the trip leaders told me about this CG that is not big enough to hold a caravan. 16 sites,half with water views. Free laundry! Nice little town.
2nd and 3rd pics. Cape Bonavista Municipal Park. Whale watching from our campsite every day and Puffins about 1/2 mile walk away. While at Kingspoint CG, another camper told us about this place. The town allows 3 nights boondocking anywhere you can park. This spot was on the left just before you get to lighthouse.
