I'm going to add a couple more from our Newfoundland trip. The main reason is that if anyone ever goes to Newfoundland, these are 2 more out of the way CG's that you probably would not find on your own.
1st pic is Kingspoint Municipal CG. We were not able to get on the WBCCI caravan (next up on the waitlist but no opening). One of the trip leaders told me about this CG that is not big enough to hold a caravan. 16 sites,half with water views. Free laundry! Nice little town.
2nd and 3rd pics. Cape Bonavista Municipal Park. Whale watching from our campsite every day and Puffins about 1/2 mile walk away. While at Kingspoint CG, another camper told us about this place. The town allows 3 nights boondocking anywhere you can park. This spot was on the left just before you get to lighthouse.

As you know, we stayed in same spot you did a few days later thanks to your suggestion. one of the best in Newfoundland .
