Spring break trip to see our oldest child and grandchildren in Iowa. Left 80 degree weather with two teenagers who would have rather been at the beach. There was no forecasted snow or cold weather.

After a day of rainy driving, what a treat to see this over the trailer.

Roosevelt St park, Morton MS.

Yup, the wine is off camera right side, and isn't in a box!

3 Days Left

Lets get out a few more pics.

Some beautiful photos so far. I especially like the Amish eggs and polished aluminum. Remember, this is a rhetorical question "ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?"

Here is another unofficial entry of mine just because,

I thought that the photo was supposed to be a personal original photo (incl. family member as photographer maybe), not a newspaper or Internet clipping?

Post #22 is at the top of the contenders' list, as is #24 IMO.

Thanks for a good theme! With Halloween almost here, a few more sardonic camping justapositions might appear, from folks' personal archives?

Boo!

Peter

See post 3 for my answer. I am having a 60s moment.

FYI/ The photos I submitted to this month's contest I have already disqualified, so go for it. You get extra points for the phrase "sardonic camping juxtapositions".

Thanks, but somehow opening the floodgates to include Internet images spoils the fun, and de-personalizes things IMO.

Dr. Sardonicus thinking . . .

PS -- remember that movie?
