Just got back yesterday and here's a few fall shots from our trip to the UP. The fright was catching 5 mice and finding ticks and being driven off by beetles!

Those are absolutely gorgeous shots Carol! You guys must have hit the colors just right. Not to mention the artist's eye.
BTW, was that you backing into a site or was that your newly liberated hubby? I won't ask who does a better job.

Wow, great stuff everyone. This is going to be a tough month to pick a winner.
Keep those cameras clicking - about a week left to go!

Thanks Tom. Yes Brad had just gone back to our last site to grab the AS and left me as colateral to guard the new one so we wouldn't lose it. We couldn't find anything else to leave as a marker... I will say this...what I lack in skill I make up for in determination, or is that obstinence?
Kee Kee "found" us only recently, so this was his first camping trip.

Isn't it great to camp with pets! We took Sulley with us this past weekend and he had a ball. I don't know who loves camping more, him or us. He just hates being left behind when we go out to places he can't go. And he has gotten pretty good at freeing himself from being corralled in the kitchen.

Thanks Uwe. This is our first kitten. He walked into our garage and our lives a little bit ago at 8 weeks old. We have two dogs right now and have never been cat people formerly but the shelter was full with some cats already being there 4 years. Kee Kee is so little trouble and loves and warms the heart with every antic and nuzzle. Pets really are God's gift to us. I don't know if he is a tabby, an orange cat, a ginger and white, or a marmalade, but his markings are pretty and his eyes still have the blue in them. We are enjoying him, as are the "boys," one a giveaway in front of Walmart last year at International in Oregon...oh no...stop me... But I have come to the distinct opinion after the past three plus weeks that that the optimum Airstream occupancy is one human and one pet, but if you are going to push the envelope an Airstream is the ideal vehicle to do it in! LOL
Tom I know what you mean, Kee Kee escaped from every camp site we visited and led us on a merry chase. I'm a bad Mama... always forgetting my children.

she really likes to wear that... and I have a hard time to undress her.
The standing position is standard... she always do that... no special effect in that...

The countdown begins!
Just a few more days to get your FALL AND FRIGHT photos in for the October Photo Contest!
Judging ends at midnight on October 31st, so there's plenty of time after all the ghosts and goblins go to sleep to upload your spooky Halloween photos.
Here's one of mine from the NorCal Rally at Lake San Antonio this weekend (of course, not for the contest, just for fun.) We were treated to a little rain, lots of eerie fog, and a few tarantulas to keep us in the Halloween mood.

Hey All...
Photo #1: From our trip to Fool Hollow State Park near Show Low, AZ this past week...our campsite...
Photo #2: In the same campsite...with just the right fall light reflecting the vivid fall colors all around...
Photo #3: A spooky night shot at the same camp site...
Photos #4...a double exposure of great fall oak leaves at campsite superimposed on the Airstream...
I love taking pics of our Airstream!
