October 2006 photo contest

Somebody was drinking and I'm the Judge for this month.

I warn everybody in advance that as Judge i will be fair and arbitrary and capricious. PM me for the bribery schedule.

This months theme will be.......Your best before and after picture of your Airstream. It could be a total rebuild from shrapnel or a redecorating of a brand new model. I'm after what you have done to your Airstream to make it yours.

So please post one before picture and one after picture.

Enter early and enter often.

Oh, please post the bribery schedule! Are you looking for aluminum rivits, clicos (spelling?), gas credit cards, or what????

Nice ideas for the contest!

How many hours did it take to polish that puppy so bright?

Along with those truly cool Blue numbers from Devoman I will come up with a prize for the winner.

P.S. I am announcing myself winner so I can get me those Blue numbers. Thank you all for participating.

We will sweeten the kitty.

In addition to the cash award and large blue numbers, the winner of this month’s contest will also win one of our new “You bet they still make ‘em” t-shirts.
After the winning announcement, just email the size (M, L, or XL) to roger@airstreamlife.com along with your shipping address to claim your t-shirt. No charge for shipping to any USA address.
Good luck to all contestants!

before/after

Both of these photos were taken in June, almost to the day, one year apart. First one is from June 2005 when we first brought her home. The second from June 2006 after about 600 hours into a pretty intensive remodel. Cheers! --dave

LOL!!! The first set of steps (aftermarket) fell off almost as soon as we got it home. The log was used until one day I discovered that a second set (the original) steps were tucked up under the body After a wire brushing, painting and greasing, the original steps work like new and are sturdy as can be. --dave
