At Long Key FL state park, looking out of the bedroom window at our view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Does a decal count as a sign?

My signs.

Hi, I parked in this space in Idaho, as it was the only place in town long enough for to park in. I got out to survey the situation. I was somewhat shocked to find out that my trailer was in a 2 hour parking zone while my tow vehicle was in a 15 minute parking zone. I had to back up enough to clear the 15 minute zone on the verge of blocking the driveway.

Good thing you got out and looked. That’s really a weird combination of parking zones. Would have been an interesting (in the Spockian sense) citation had you gotten one.

Of course, in California, you might have been close to getting a ticket for a violation of Section 22500 Subsection E of the California Vehicle Code** with the back end of your trailer.

**blocking a driveway. The line of the ‘apron’ defines how far back you have to be. I have a lovely neighbor that just loves to thoroughly block my driveway, bless his heart...(in the southern sense). It took a very nice CHP Officer about 20 minutes to find chapter and verse of the code when I was having issues with someone else blocking my secondary driveway with a full three feet of their car...and would not move it. The CHP Officer explained it to them very politely and told them to move it, or get an expensive ticket. They no longer park there.

Every summer, I trek solo from Houston Texas to far northeastern Nova Scotia, a journey that involves 4 to 5 days of Crackerdocking, Wallydocking, and truck-stop-docking across almost 3,000 miles. So this "welcome" monument isn't just a sign - it's a milestone.

It's not exactly a road sign, but I think it's close enough! Found in the Nevada desert.

There is a great story that goes with this picture. It was several years ago and we were traveling in Kansas (previous Airstream) and I got an urgent phone call, but the call kept dropping. I told the caller I would call them back at the next town. We pull into Osborne, Kansas and park in front of this grocery store. I am on the phone and my wife takes this shot. The grocery store name is also my last name, no relation...
